Hastings Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Join the Hastings TeamUp for a 1 Mile Breast Cancer Awareness Month Walk on Saturday, October 19 at W.E. Harris Community Center, 400 East Harris Street, Hastings. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Live entertainment and informational booths will greet participants at Al Wilke Park following the walk. A ceremony recognizing local breast cancer survivors will begin at 10 a.m. Walkers are encouraged to wear pink. Donations will be accepted with all donations going to Pink Up The Pace. TeamUp is a partnership between St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department, Hastings Library, Friends of the Hastings Library, Hastings Rotary, and the citizens of the Town of Hastings and Flagler Estates. Active Adult Activities – Hastings
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays; August 13 through December 17
Where: W.E. Harris Community Center, 400 East Harris St., Hastings
Details: Starting March 5, we will host a variety of activities designed for active adults 50+. Every Tuesday, join us for Bingo from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and on Thursdays, our Wellness Program offers up light stretching and light weight machine exercise with staff assistance from 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Next, join our Crochet Club from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. also on Thursdays. Pickleball – Open play on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treaty Park, 1595 Wildwood Drive, St. Augustine.
